Great place for a stopover. Super clean rooms with nice bedding. Bathroom was spotless with nice warm rain shower. Check in and check out was easy. About 20 mins for airport.

FantasticStayed with partner
A pretty bare bones cabin with a seprate kitchen/common area and 2 shared bathrooms with showers. Everything was nice and clean. The WiFi signal was pretty weak, we had a cabin further away from the main building. The shades on the window could have been a bit wider or had magnets on the side or something to close the gap. Overall an affordable, pleasant stay close to the airport

GoodStayed with partner
My husband and I had been traveling around Iceland for the previous 2 weeks, and this was our final stay before flying home the following day. It wasn't a bad stay, but it was our least favorite stay of the trip.
The good things were: check-in was easy, the communal space was clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, and at first it seemed like it would be a quiet stay, but we quickly learned how noisy the sea bird life was here. There were many other less-than-ideal things too: the cabin itself was simple--it didn't have its own sink, so any time we needed to wash our face/hands, or brush our teeth, we'd have to walk to the bathroom where the sink was. For the entire property there's only two shower rooms, and the toilets/sinks are also in the shower rooms. If two people are using the shower rooms, the toilets are then inaccessible for this time. The shower/bathroom space is also an outdoor walk from your cottage, and this is a chilly walk during the night. The wooden door to our cottage was also very stiff and squeaky to close/open, and opening it during the night to use the bathroom was always loud and would wake the other up. We stayed in cottage #8 and I couldn't even get a wifi signal from there. There were also two hot tubs on site, but for some reason they're locked--it would have been a nice feature for this place if guests were able to have access to them.
This stay worked for one night, but we wouldn't choose to stay here again.
