Stayed with family

Our first experience in Athens, Greece would have not been perfect without the staff in Metropolis Hotel. The check in was less than a minute, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The place is simple and clean, nothing complicated. The location is PRIME. Highly suggest this place for Travellers and I will be looking forward to staying again with them in the future. Thank you for making it memorable for us in Athens.

The location of the hotel can’t be beaten! It is in the epicenter of Plaka - the city district surrounding the Acropolis! We could see Akropolis from our balcony! The staff is extremely helpful and nice! Kostas helped us so much with all the information we needed! We definitely recommend it for anybody wanting to have a safe and entertaining stay in Athens!

Amazing stay. Definitely recommend upgrading for the balcony views it's worth it. Breakfast could have been more "elegant" but you can't beat a rooftop view of the Parthenon. It was very convient to walk and see all the main attractions; the staff was super sweet pointing out things to do that were more local - than touristy. I bookmarked this hotel in case I need to come back!

Avoid this hotel. Mold was visible in multiple areas of the property, and the overall cleanliness was extremely poor. The conditions raised serious health and safety concerns. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I believe Expedia should investigate whether this property meets basic standards for listing on its platform. I would not recommend staying here.
