Explore Beijing's bustling hutongs (narrow streets in alleys) to hunt for some good, traditional breakfast grub. This is perfect for the adventurous foodie who's craving for more than just your regular tourist fare. Sample a variety of Halal-style beef dishes prepared in the wet markets as a satisfying introduction to the tour. Taste the Chinese version of the churro, called Chinese crullers, which are just as crunchy, soft, and sweet as its western counterpart. Dig into a freshly-cooked jianbing, or egg-stuffed pancake, and enjoy the surprisingly complex flavors and textures contained in this tight little package. End the tour with a hot cup of coffee at a rooftop cafe as you enjoy the view surrounding the hutongs. Book this tour now to start your day right: With a classic, scrumptious Beijing breakfast.

We were late getting to this tour we contacted Erenstina the guide and she was great she had a tuk tuk come pick us up to meet up with rest of the group. We missed the first stop of the food tour but Ernestine has the food packaged for us from the first food stop which was AWESOME! She was very knowledgeable on Beijing and the food stops we went too. I HIGHLY recommend you book this food tour and get her as your tour guide you will not regret it.

This was one of the best tours we booked in Beijing! GREAT experience: we went to very local restaurants where we were the only not Chinese clients, where we ate very different kinds of delicious food. The restaurants are hidden in the Hutongs, as a tourist you will never find them, which makes it very special. Our guide Yvon was the best guide there is: very enthousiastic and sweet and she told us a lot of interesting stories and provided us beer whenever we wanted. Also the tuk tuk was a great experience, the perfect way to travel in the small streets of the Hutongs. We had a great night, everyone should do this when visiting Beijing!!

As foodies, we really loved & appreciated this tour. We were able to taste dishes that we won't be able try if we did not join this tour. It is quite pricey but definitely worth every centavo! If we had more time, we would have joined another tour on a different day. They were also generous with portions and the food is not cheap! Tip: Bring a jacket and wear warm clothing during autumn and winter. can be cold! Tip: Don't eat everything on first few stops. You won't be able to enjoy the last stops anymore.

There is not enough words to describe the tour. Cherry our guide was just amazing! She took us to all these alleyways that you would not normally go to as a tourist. You need a local guide to locate all these hall in the wall places. The food was beyond amazing! We took a rickshaw to see the hutongs. The star really was the food!! So so so good and so worth the money I paid! Thumbs up!

It’s a great experience! My mum had difficult walking but the guides are so helpful and patient towards her. They find means to make sure that she doesn’t tired herself out. I’m grateful for that. Kind and patient guides. The tutu rides are very fun! The food is nice but a bit oily. Overall, awesome experience!!

A must do if you are in a city where this is offered. Our guide Hong was great. He cared for everything and was fun listening to. He made this evening a special experience. There is no other way to see and taste so many different cuisines in such a short time. - But bring warm clothes for the tuk-tuk ride!
