Bring down your carbon emissions to a zero — at least for the length of the Cyclos & Markets morning tour. Be pedalled along on a traditional bike, cyclo (with a carriage in front for passengers) then use your own two feet to get around the city and explore its classic sights and engaged markets. There is not time for feeling bored on this tour. Cyclos & Markets lets you discover the city's signature attractions: Notre Dame Cathedral, the General Post Office, the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace and more. Your local guide will tell you all about the rich history and culture of the city and the exhibits at Vietnam War museums. After the educational parting of the tour it's time for some fun. Hop on the three-wheeled bicycle and get driven through the city — feel the fresh air, take in the atmosphere and get ready for shopping at Tan Dinh market.
My friend and I have had many interesting experiences. For me the most memorable experiences were taking a row boat trip on the small canal and visiting the coconut candy workshop. Vinh Trang pagoda was quite impressive but we could not go inside because at that time the monks had a meeting. The guide was nice and enthusiastic. The lunch was ok. In general, it's a good one-day tour with its price.
We would like to commend Ms. Thi (tour guide) for making the experience wonderful for us. She's very good in accommodating us and she really loves her job. She treats the team as her family and she really tries hard to explain everything to us. I would like to thank the TNK travel for making it a very memorable experience. Overall it was an interesting trip visiting the island in the Mekong delta. However, before the boat ride to the island, we were kept waiting for almost half an hour as we need to combine with a separate group from the same operator, Bon Phuong. The wait in the boat was uncomfortable due to the diesel fume from all the other boats surrounding us.
It was quite a long way from Saigon, thankfully the bus was comfortable and the tour guide, Mr. Long, is entertaining. His tourguide trainee is also very helpful although she doesn't speak English very well yet. There's actually not much fascinating about this trip but at least you get to experience the must try Mekong Delta and the service is good. The lunch was good, fried fish, fresh spring rolls, and fish soup, with rice and watermelon. On the way home, we dropped by Vinh Trang Pagoda. Overall, the trip was nice. 😊
