Grammy-winning composer and percussionist Antonio Sánchez performs live alongside Alejandro G Iñárritu’s acclaimed film Birdman
As part of a celebratory tour marking the 10th Anniversary of the release of Alejandro G Iñárritu’s Academy Award-winning film Birdman, multi-Grammy winning drummer Antonio Sánchez, composer of the film’s original score, performs live on-stage alongside the screening of this extraordinary film.
Birdman, a dark satire on fame and failure in the entertainment industry, features an all-star cast including Michael Keaton, Edward Norton, Emma Stone, Zach Galifianakis and Naomi Watts.
In this one-of-a-kind music and cinema crossover performance, Sánchez recreates his score, reacting to the on-screen action and the atmosphere in the crowd and venue. Performed live, Sánchez’s score intensifies the cinematic experience.
Described by The New York Times as “completely mesmerizing”, the live performance is a unique and memorable experience not to be missed.
