Boracay snorkeling

I was terrified and almost had a panic attack because of my PTSD and GAD but I overcame it. Diver was so kind to make sure we descend slowly and held my hand throughout and reassured me. My partner was reassuring too. There were a lot of instructions to keep in mind that made me feel overwhelmed but its an experience you should not miss. It just seems scary at first but once you are underwater and see the divers and other tourists, you feel less scared. The photos and videos come free too. But the experience was short and you could not really go around but just stand in a small area for photos on a coral reef and the diver will lure fish with bread to take nice photos and videos. It is one of the exciting activities i did at boracay with my partner.

I'm a regular diver and currently training to become a Divemaster with DiveGurus here in Boracay. I keep coming back because the team is genuinely amazing. A very satisfying experience, it can be said that this trip to Long Beach was the best!!! There is no exaggeration at all, because our English is very poor, so we rely on translation software to communicate throughout the whole process. Andrew is super super patient, and he beats all domestic coaches. He explained in super and incomparable detail! I am really touched! Super professional, he will test dive first. We found our problems, and he will solve them for us very patiently and effectively after raising them! It's really great, the manager gives Andrew and Thomas a chicken leg! Hahahaha, they are really responsible, so touching, grateful to meet!!! Everyone really dives at his house, it's really good, the lowest price on the island! The most responsible on the island! Chinese people don't cheat Chinese people, hahahaha, there are no Chinese employees at his house.

The dive center was easy to spot. They sent a text message a day before to remind me of the dive schedule and what to expect. I was alone with the divemaster on the day, but it was still as enjoyable despite the rains. Must do in Boracay.

Even though I experienced diving in Taiwan last year, because I had surgery on my back 6 years ago and have high blood pressure, the instructor required me to be evaluated by a local doctor for safety reasons before I could go into the sea (at my own expense of 500p) and finally passed safely. Begin video and oral instruction. Wear an oxygen bottle on your back and go to shallow water to practice the four safety steps. Unexpectedly, my repeated attempts were unsuccessful and I kept drinking seawater. I shouted desperately to give up and asked the coach to take my daughter directly to the boat dive. Jenny was very patient and reassured me. Even though the boat ride time had passed, she hoped that I would overcome the difficulties and encouraged me to try again and again, so that I could finally go to the sea and enjoy the underwater world. Jenny accompanied me all the way and led me to a safe experience dive. My diving in Xiaoliuqiu last year was not that difficult...it was strange! Jenny said that she would be able to successfully complete the boat diving mission next time. All right! Come on!

It’s been over a year since I last went underwater because I had a scuba accident and decided land was safer for a while. But I missed the ocean too much and it was time to stop babysitting my fear. I showed up 45 minutes early and Ate Nori kept me company the entire time. She was chatting, prepping my gear, getting the waivers ready, basically doing everything while I tried to look like a chill diver who totally knew what she was doing. She was very accommodating and helpful! Sammy, my dive master, a.k.a. underwater guardian angel slash photographer. He briefed me, took care of me the whole time and even captured amazing photos and videos which, by the way, were included in the package! A total bargain, considering other dive shops in Boracay would probably charge extra for this. We went to the Angol dive site, and it was chef’s kiss. Sammy kept checking in on me and he took awesome shots that I’ll proudly keep as proof that I faced my fear and made peace with the sea again.

Amazing Helmet Dive Experience! As a first-time solo traveler, I felt really safe booking through Klook. The staff were very maasikaso and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. The divers were funny and friendly, which helped me feel more comfortable underwater. They also took beautiful photos and videos that captured the whole experience perfectly!
