About Palau

Located along the Pacific Ocean, the archipelago of Palau is a diver's paradise. Famous for its coral reefs, shimmering lagoons, and limestone forests, there's much to discover on the ground, but most especially underwater. With an abundance of marine life, underwater caverns like Siaes Tunnel and the aptly named Chandelier Cave, an underwater chamber filled with stalactites, it's no wonder why Palau's dive sites are ranked amongst the best in the world.

Palau––like other Pacific Islands of Micronesia––is also known for its rich history. Check out the artifacts at the Belau National Museum or set sail for Peleliu Island, dotted with abandoned WWII tanks and other relics of the past.
