Got ourselves a 7-day Global Pass and travelled through 5 countries. Buying the pass was easy but how to use the app for activating the pass will need some time to learn. However, fear not as there are many experienced people out willing to share. Do some readings and join some fb travel groups and you will surprised by the information available. The pass was flexible but the train schedule can be unpredictable which means you need to be updated requently to stay on course of your journey. We only experienced one hicccup on one of the trips at Berlin due to seat reservation issue and missing the connecting train due to delay of the first train. The other trips were as planned.

very convenient to go to the airport in Madrid from T1,T2 and T4. just be mindful of using the QR code from your booking or Klook QR voucher for it to be readable by the bus validation machine. It took us a bit of time trying to validate our QR code bcoz I was using the screenshot then we figured it supposed to be the QR from the booking app itself. overall it was a very smooth ride going to the airport coning from Atocha train station. grateful to the kind bus driver for the help.

You said: Prague to viena train review ChatGPT said: Here’s a real-world review and travel overview of taking the train from Prague to Vienna — what it’s like, how it feels, and what travelers generally say about it: 🚆 Overview of the Prague → Vienna Train The route between Prague (Praha) and Vienna (Wien) is one of Central Europe’s classic rail journeys: Regular direct trains run daily with no changes required, typically taking about 4 hours. The Man in Seat Sixty-One +1 Operated mainly by Czech Railways (ČD) & Austrian ÖBB, most services use modern Railjet or Comfortjet trains. The price for the triple room is the cheapest among many, and the location is considered close to the train station. I dragged 3 suitcases and walked, even though there was road construction around, it took 15 minutes. Upon exiting the station, go to the 2nd floor and walk to the left across the road. You will see the airport bus location along the way. In total, I crossed 3 traffic lights. Even if I go to the hotel at 11:30 PM, I won't worry. There are also quite a few people around, so everyone can rest assured. The room is clean, and the shower gel smells really good.

Great 4.0
The staff seems overly focused, listening to guests ramble on with trivial questions for far too long. They struggle to grasp the main point or notice other guests waiting anxiously. While their attitude is good, their alertness and efficiency are not ideal. I liked that my room was a good size, and I appreciated that they accommodated my requested room in advance. The nearby small shopping center is definitely a big plus.

It has been an amazing experience preparing Paella and Sangria here! Hosts have been amazing. I’ve always thought preparing these were easy, but not after the workshop!

Tips before visiting Madrid

Learn a few basic Spanish phrases

While many people in central Madrid understand some English, simple phrases like "hola," "gracias," and "¿dónde está…?" can make your trip easier and friendlier. Locals appreciate the effort, and it helps in smaller shops or markets.

Book major attractions early

Popular spots like the Royal Palace, Prado Museum, and Reina Sofía often sell out during busy seasons. Reserve your tickets online a few days ahead so you can skip long lines and choose the best time to visit.

Take a break during siesta hours

Some small stores and restaurants in Madrid close in the afternoon, usually between 2 and 5 PM. Use this time to rest at your hotel, enjoy a quiet walk in El Retiro Park, or grab a snack at places that stay open, like Mercado de San Miguel.

Use the metro to save time and money

The Madrid Metro is fast, cheap, and easy to use. Get a rechargeable transit card (Tarjeta Multi) when you arrive. It helps you move around the city quickly, especially during hot summers or busy weekends

Stay connected with a Spain eSIM

A Spain eSIM from Klook is a simple way to stay online without hunting for WiFi or buying a physical SIM. You can install it before you land, and it makes using maps, translation apps, and tickets super convenient
