I came here just to kill some time, but I was amazed by how wonderful it was. As others have written, the audio guide is fantastic. It makes you feel as if you're in old Paris. It not only explains the furnishings within the facility but also skillfully describes the historical background, making it very educational. The view of Place de la Concorde from the terrace is magnificent, and perhaps due to the audio guide I had just listened to, I felt like a living witness to history. I highly recommend it at the highest level.

Originally established during the reign of Louis XV as the Royal Furniture and Furnishings Administration, this building subsequently served as the headquarters of the Ministry of the Navy for approximately 200 years. After the Navy relocated, the building was restored and opened to the public in 2021. Its interior is a highlight, where the dignity of the 18th and 19th-century French state coexists with Parisian elegance. The rooms are opulent, the furnishings are refined, and everything is a testament to craftsmanship. Historical tension lingers in details like the shuttered windows, which feature loopholes for sentries to stand guard and aim their rifles. The location overlooking the Place de la Concorde is also superb, making this mansion so captivating that you'll lose all track of time.

The museum isn't very large, but it's quiet and clean. Audio guides are available, and there's air conditioning. It's quite beautiful and perfect for taking photos and learning about history. There are also other attractions nearby that you can visit.

It’s worth the money, as the interior of the Marine Hotel is luxurious. They are also the first museum to offer wireless earphones that automatically start the recording when you reach a specific spot, which is really cool. Additionally, there is a touch screen that allows multiple people to interact with it and listen to the history of marine life.
