What to expect

What better way to discover the alluring island of Koh Phi Phi than on a morning snorkel around some of the best spots in the area? Start your day bright and early and meet up with your guide as well as your tour companions for the day at Blue View Divers. As soon as you're out at sea, grab your snorkeling gear and your fins and dive into the waters! Be sure to keep an eye out for the gentle Blacktip Reef Sharks that are usually found in the shallow areas of the sea. Board your boat and make your way to Viking Cave and Pileh Lagoon, two iconic and stunning sites in Koh Phi Phi. Observe the limestone walls of Viking Cave, where locals would harvest edible bird's nest from, and take a dip into the crystal clear waters of Pileh Lagoon before you head out to your second snorkeling spot of the day. On this morning tour, you'll also make a visit to Maya Bay, one of Thailand's most popular beaches, made famous by the 2000 movie 'The Beach' starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Maya Beach is closed indefinitely due to coral restoration and recovery, hosting the largest coral propagation project in the world. You can stop for a photo and a swim, enjoying unspoiled views of the beach, since boats or speedboats can no longer take over the beach. Maya Bay may not be accessible in the low season due to high winds and strong seas. You will also visit the famous Monkey Beach during your trip and observe the monkeys from your boat. At the end of the trip, you will be transported back to the pier to continue the rest of your day as you please. Don't forget - this tour is eco-friendly, so bring reusable containers for water, and be sure to keep your trash to yourself!
