Surfing Lesson in Canggu Bali by Matahari Surf School

Good coaching by JO. He is very patient and waiting for the right wave for me to try. Even in the beginning I do not surf well but he assure me the falling in to the water is better than falling on the ground. In the end I was able to get a better feel on how to surf. Will come back in the future. They should improve facility for shower

I had a great experience with this surfing lesson! My coach, Yahya, was very professional, patient, and gave clear instructions that made it easy to learn quickly, even as a beginner. The team also helped take lots of photos during the session, and they all turned out amazing. I had so much fun and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to learn surfing!

Took my first surfing lesson ever with Jo! He was so friendly and patient, and really knew how to take care of beginner surfers even though the waves were pretty big. Overall such a fun experience, and I would definitely come back to this school again the next time I’m in Canggu. Thanks so much, Jo! :)

our surfing experience was great! my husband and I surfed and it was our first time and we felt very safe. instructors very knowledgeable and we both were about to catch our first wave so that’s a win in our book.

I recently took a surfing lesson with Jo, and it was an amazing experience! I had so much fun that I ended up going twice. Jo is incredibly nice and supportive; he really knows how to encourage beginners. Paddling was definitely tiring, but Jo was there to help push me along when I needed it. Thanks to his guidance, I managed to stand up on the board after just 30 minutes! The location is fantastic, too. After the lesson, I loved relaxing in their beach bean bags. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a great day of surfing. Highly recommend!

Had a great first time surfing experience. instructor: Jo was very friendly and professional, he makes sure you learn the necessary skills before going into the sea. He also ensures our safety and always looking out for us, making sure we are alright and doing well. They also provide some sunscreen and rashguard if you forgotten to bring yours.

Instructor: It was my first time surfing at Jjanggu Beach, and I realized how important it is for the instructor to be knowledgeable and ensure safety, especially given the depth of the water. Instructor Jo taught me this time, and I had so much fun and gained so much interest in surfing, so thank you so much!!! Totally awesome!! If I have the chance, I'll book again and surf again tomorrow.
