1. [Group workshop on no-fire ceramic hand-making] 2 hours per class

In recent years, fire-free ceramics have become very popular in Japan and Taiwan. There is no need to use a kiln for firing. The work can have the same effect as ceramics through natural air drying, reducing the risk of cracking during the firing process, and creating ceramic works of art safely and easily. Welcome Handicraft workshops for parents and children, individuals, couples and groups of friends.

  • Techniques for making hand-kneaded clay *Professor’s hand-made production: decorative plate/cartoon doll/food display/chopstick holder *Teaching how to paint patterns or embossing on non-fired ceramics
  • Instruction on how to use colors and gloss glaze techniques (12 colors for students to choose from) *Students make two works by themselves. If you want to purchase one more work, you can choose a mooncake-shaped decoration for $80 each.

2. [Ceramics painting workshop Ceramics hand-painted glaze workshop] 2 hours per class

content: *Introduction to ceramic making

  • Application of ceramic pigments
  • Material characteristics of glaze
  • Plain beaker painting (freely create patterns and words) *Includes all materials, tools, glaze firing and tutor fees
  • The instructor will help students glaze firing
  • It will take about three to four weeks after completing the workshop to get the work back because it takes time to bake and glaze.

  • Participants must be over 5 years old and must be attended by their parents | Based on 2 people (i.e. one parent and one child), same price for each size *Quota: 2-6 people (more than 2 people form a group) *Last registration time for each period: 5 days before the event | Please note that the quota will be filled before the quota is filled

3. [Ceramics Hand Built workshop Ceramics Hand Built workshop] 2 hours per class

content: *Introduction to the ceramic making process

  • Explain the hand-shaping techniques of clay *Professor makes green wine cup/tea cup/coffee cup/bowl/chopstick holder/small plate/incense plate/sacred wooden plate/doll decoration/small vase
  • Paint patterns or emboss patterns on ceramic cups *Students will make two to three works by themselves *The price is based on two completed works (if additional firing is required, an additional charge of $80 will be charged)
  • 2 hours (including all materials, tools and instructor fees)
  • The instructor will help students biscuit, glaze (students can choose 1 solid color from 5 colors) and glaze firing twice.
  • It will take about three to four weeks after completing the workshop to get the works back because it takes time to bake and glaze.

4. [Ceramics wheel throwing workshop Ceramics cup and glaze painting workshop] 2 hours per class

  • Explain the process of making ceramic pull cups
  • Correct use and posture of ceramic cup making machine
  • Demonstrate cup pulling skills *Teaching how to make cups/small plates/small bowls
  • Students make ceramics with their own hands on the cup machine
  • Students apply the glaze color themselves *Students can take back one completed work
  • 2-2.5 hours (including all materials, tools and tutor fees)
  • Bisque firing and glaze firing twice
  • It will take about three to four weeks after completing the workshop to get the works back because it takes time to bake and glaze.

  • Explain the hand-shaping techniques of clay
  • Explain and demonstrate the techniques of cup pulling
  • Correct use and posture of ceramic cup making machine
  • Teach how to make green wine cups/cups/chopstick holders/small plates/small cups/small plates/small bowls by hand
  • Use your hands to draw patterns or embossing patterns on ceramic cups
  • Students can enjoy making hand-kneaded and cup-drawing works all at once
  • Students can take back two completed works (if additional burning is required, an additional fee of $80 will be charged for each piece)
  • 3.5 hours (including all materials, tools and tutor fees)

"Summer Parent-Child Ceramics Workshop"

Ceramic art is a creation with high plasticity and great freedom. Children can inspire their creative thinking through exposure to ceramic art, break through the existing imagination framework, and create unique ceramics. Ceramics can also train children’s concentration, allowing children to express their thoughts through works during the creative process. Parents can also learn more about children’s inner feelings through this workshop. Individuals, couples and groups of friends are also welcome to sign up for the workshop.

Ceramics Workshop A: [Parent-child no-fire ceramic hand-making + glaze painting workshop]

Fire-free ceramics, which are now very popular in Japan and Taiwan, do not require the use of a kiln to prevent the work from cracking during the firing process. Students' works are dried naturally, which is safe and easy.

Workshop content:

-Introduction to the characteristics of clay

  • Demonstration of clay making techniques -Teach hand making (two options are available)
  • Mount Fuji ornament plate/incense dish holder/sacred wooden dish holder/cartoon doll/cute animal ornaments/mountain-shaped chopstick holder or
  • Create a medium-sized 12x12cm piece
  • After finishing the styling, blow dry immediately and apply glaze and color
  • Teaching patterns and embossing on non-fired ceramics
  • Guidance on color matching and gloss glaze techniques (12 colors for students to choose from)
  • You can get your works back after the class is over

Introducing the process of making ceramic pull cups

  • Use of ceramic tools
  • Correct use and posture of ceramic cup making machine
  • Explain and demonstrate the techniques of cup pulling
  • Students make small cups/small plates/small bowls/small vases/cute animal cups by themselves
  • Students paint and glaze (color) by themselves
  • Students can take back their completed works approximately three to four weeks after completing the class
  • (If you need to make one more piece, there is an additional charge of $150/piece, including materials and kiln fees)
