What to expect
Admire the Tagus River bay from the Ponte Vasco da Gama, which is the longest bridge in Europe at 17 kilometers. You will ascend the Palmel Castle Tower from here, so don’t miss the opportunity to take amazing photos with your significant other. The tour will continue by driving through the Arrábida wine region to visit a beautiful local family-owned wine farm in the heart of the Arrábida park. Along the way, you will pass many vineyards, cork, and olive trees, and of course, you will get to enjoy wine tasting (Moscatel and Red wine) in the region and the village of Azeitão! Enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean from the viewpoint at the Arrábida Natural Park (501m peak). Before returning to Lisbon through the 25th April Bridge, the tour will stop at the Cristo Rei statue, which is modeled after Rio de Janeiro’s Cristo Redentor statue.

The location KLOOK set as the starting point for this itinerary was wrong. It was a strange place far away from the city center. The actual meeting point and disbanding point were the same, both in front of the Rock Cafe on Liberty Avenue. I checked with KLOOK customer service before departure, but they were very slow to respond and not in time. Later, I directly contacted the local window to confirm that I would not go to the wrong place. I remind everyone to confirm the meeting point before departure. The tour guide assigned to this itinerary was very good. He gave explanations in English and French simultaneously on the day. He had a deep understanding of Portuguese history and culture and was very fruitful. The itinerary was not too tight and the pace was very comfortable.

He deserves amazing praise and you should request him! Make sure you love wine and sightseeing.
Tour guides Benny & Hugo provided professional introductions to the attractions and scenery. The winery tour guide was also very professional in introducing everything about the winery. At the fish market, I recommend buying cheese to take to the winery to pair with wine! The beach in Sesimbra is beautiful, be sure to take the time to walk on the beach!! Highly recommend this tour 🍷
