Had a great half-day tour in Balik Pulau! Our guide CC was super attentive and very well-versed in heritage. He started by introducing us to bedak sejuk (cooling powder), a centuries old Penang skincare tradition-such a unique cultural gem! We then enjoyed delicious Fried Flat Noodles (Char Hor Fun) at a local spot in Balik Pulau. Although the Belacan factory was closed, CC still took the time to explain the entire belacan-making process to us in detail. He also shared fascinating insights at the Nutmeg Factory, the Container Art Festival, and capped it all off with a delicious durian tasting. His explanation of the Malay Kampong house's design and functionality was a real highlight. Highly recommend CC!

had a blast at escape! we went on saturday at the end of long leave and so there was not that much of a crowd. the engagement from all the employees were really great and all of them are really friendly and helpful. overall great experience, good job escape penang team 💯

Overall, a memorable experience for the family. All the rides were thrilling and fun; the chairlift up to the longest zip coaster, tube slide and tyre slide was a quiet but relaxing experience. it would be best if the park management install an instructions signboard at the park entrance for first-time visitors on how to navigate the dry and wet areas (eg where to get the harness and the need to bring the tubes along to the tube slide). Toilets, lockers and the park were clean and the crew were helpful and friendly. The con was there were many mosquitoes, so insect repellant is a must-have. Items sold at the shop were reasonably priced. However, the pricing of the photos packages can be a bit confusing. E-scooters were very popular and most of them ran out of battery by around noon-time.

Have a whole day of fun with my 10yr old. We went on weekday and local school vacation has not start so there wasn't much queue. Take note that for Monkey Business activity, there is no turning back so be sure and confident that you can complete before you even begin. A lady was literally crying and screaming throughout the course. Go early at 10am and start with the Longest Zip Coaster before the crowd comes in. Complete the day with a dinner at Batu Ferringhi and fire show.

At the AdventurePlay high-challenge zone in Escape Penang, what’s truly tested isn’t skill—it’s the limits of courage and physical endurance. The most unforgettable part for me was Monkey Business Level 2—a dialogue with fear itself, and a test of willpower. Alone, I moved between ropes and planks suspended several meters above the ground. The wind swept beneath my feet, and my heartbeat echoed in my ears. Worth for money.

Many times of visiting, Escape has been upgraded with some new facilities , Tealive and has convenient stores. It was fun to play for different ages! Must try the Kite Flyer . It is like playing a huge swing.

Easy to redeem. Once you do facial recognition on your phone, then you easily enter ESCAPE PENANG. All the activities are fun and challenging. Especially the bungee jumping and flying fox activities. All staff are friendly and helpful. Worth it to spend our cuti sekolah here. Totally reccomended.
