The Van Gogh tour was quite good. You don't necessarily have to enter at the exact time you purchased; you can go in three or four hours earlier, and they'll still let you visit. As for the boat tour, it's a large boat with a roof, and what's great is that it also comes with headphones you can plug in on the boat to listen to explanations. There are many languages to choose from.
I think this ticket package is really convenient because I could easily find the Van Gogh Museum as soon as I arrived. We didn't spend a very long time at the Van Gogh Museum, so we had plenty of time for a canal cruise. That's why I think having a ticket package like this is very convenient.
Our family had a great time at the Van Gogh Museum seeing the original paintings like his famous Self Portrait and The Bedroom.
While it likely depends on the season, booking tickets for the Van Gogh Museum in advance was definitely the right decision. My online search suggested that reservations weren't strictly necessary, but upon arrival, many people without bookings had to turn away. The museum's collection is remarkable; it's rare to find a museum that gathers such a comprehensive body of work by a single artist, allowing visitors to truly experience the artist's life through their art. If you visit Amsterdam, I highly recommend going.
Easy to use and a very worthwhile exhibition to visit! I recommend renting a tour guide to learn more about Van Gogh's background. Transportation is also very convenient, be sure to buy tickets in advance!
The boat tour doesn't have a live guide; it's an audio guide with a Chinese option, which is good. I recommend choosing a seat on the right side! Also, I suggest going directly to the boarding point near the Van Gogh Museum; it'll be very convenient to visit the museum right after the boat ride!
W just purchased the ticket. it’s easy to access with qr code, very smooth. The museum is full of Van Goh stories, worth to visit.
Although I don't understand art, this visit gave me a deeper appreciation for Van Gogh and expanded my knowledge. Be sure to book a canal cruise before 4:30 PM.
The museum visit is an absolute must! The art was absolutely stunning and the experience was well organized! My only critique was the boat trip. It wasn’t clear in the instructions on the voucher where and which company to go to. No one at the museum knew as well. So we unfortunately did not get to do it :(
