Hualien Taroko Day Tour from Ximending

We had an absolutely wonderful day, the weather was nice and our tour guide Cindy did a really good job. We didn't feel rushed at all and had the time to explore all the places. Definitely recommend going on this trip! Taiwan has such incredible nature, absolutely worth it.

10/10! The tour was well organized and jam packed with magnificent sights and activities. Also, Ms. Emma is very friendly and made sure that each and everyone were comfortable and informed/updated. What made the tour way more outstanding is the incorporation of the historical context of Taroko Gorge and the aboriginals. This tour is highly recommended! Hualien Taroko day tour is highly recommended! Hand in hand with our very informative, caring and professional tour guide Emma, we truly enjoyed the awesome sights this tour offers. Thank you Emma! We just had a minor traffic setback leaving the city as it was a holiday, but we were still able to follow the itinerary, giving us sufficient time to enjoy each stop and allowing the group the needed pitstops along the way. My husband had motion sickness and Emma was genuinely concerned checking in on him once in a while.

Karen was 5 star! Flicking between 2 languages with ease and was so fun. She kept the tour on track and was a great guide - I learnt so much about Taiwanese history and culture. Taroko itself was stunning, it’s an absolute must for those visiting Taiwan. The landscape is out of this world and completely breath taking.

The tour was really well-planned and time efficient. The tour guide, James 'Bear' Wu is really friendly and informative, and even managed to entertain us during the long drives to and fro Ximending and Hualien. Most notably, the toilet break they gave after the initial 2+ hour drive from Ximending to Hualien really saved me 😂 This tour was really memorable and i'd even consider going again with other people in the future. Thanks so much!

Lovely experience. Our guide James was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of great info about Taiwan, it's culture, sights, sounds, people. The tour itself is quite packed as we cover a lot of distance in one day, but made all the more worth it with our awesome Guide James. Definitely recommend taking the tour!

We would absolutely recommend this day tour! Our guide was Emma and she is so warm and sweet, and professional! From the meetup at Ximen Station, to all the stops throughout the day, the tour was timely and without any hiccups. We were part of a smaller group of less than 20 and rode a small bus. The driver was safe and efficient and moved us along very comfortably. We loved that we were able to leave our bag safely in the car as we stepped on and off at the spots - so it was super convenient to pack drinks and snacks and extra jackets, and not have to carry it around. While Taroko is huge, much of the scenery is similar - so everyone is going there to see the same key points. Unless you’re an adventurous hiker that plans to spend alot of time in every part, this day tour is perfect for you with minimal and easy leisurely walking, plenty of bathroom stops and enough views of the famous park. We were able to get in all of the key sights and had plenty of time for photo ops at each stop. While some may think that these tours move quickly and tightly on schedule - we loved that it was just enough time and not dragged out unnecessarily. Emma is very knowledgeable (and so funny and cute!) - she invests her time to prepare for the tour and offers fun little tidbits and answered all of our questions. We left Ximen at 8:15am, had a great little power nap before our first pit stop. And after leaving the park, we again took advantage of the bus ride to nap in between (which everyone did!). It was a good day, and we’re so glad we did this tour!

Sophie was very nice, informative and she was giving the tour in TWO languages (super impressive in itself). the weather was perfect for exploring Taroko Gorge too, and it was just the right amount of time spent on each point

The tour is very worthwhile. The tour operator, Miss Cindy, warmly takes care of the tour and provides detailed information on the route. On that day, there were not many members, but a large coach was brought to serve, making it very comfortable. It is safe and the schedule is controlled as planned. Very impressed. The tour is owned by Routour.
