- There are approximately 180 stores within Omicho Market, and closing days vary by store. Approximately 60% are open on Sundays and approximately 50% on public holidays. Many stores are closed on Wednesdays, so approximately 20% of stores are open, but you can still enjoy shopping. Please note that most stores will be closed for departures on 1/1 and 2 due to the New Year.

- There are several cats on the grounds of Gotanjoji Temple, so please be careful if you are allergic to cats.
