How to redeem
- Please present your pass from the Okinawa FunPASS app
- Step 1: Download the Okinawa FunPASS app to activate your pass
- Step 2: Enter the serial number (starting with “85”) from your voucher to activate the pass
- Step 3: Show the QR code in the app at the location to redeem your first item (The pass is valid for 5 consecutive days after your first redemption)
- [Scenario 1] Purchase the pass on 01 May. Activate the pass in the designated app and redeem the first item on 02 May, the last day of the validity is 06 May.
- [Scenario 2] Purchase the pass on 01 May 2025 but does NOT activate the pass in the designated app until 01 May 2026. The pass will be invalid for use
- Note: The pass must be activated within 365 days, or it will expire. Any unredeemed items will also become invalid.

Using the app for redemption was very convenient and fast. I was able to link multiple serial numbers to the same phone. I redeemed tickets for DMM Kariyushi Aquarium and a good luck charm coin purse from Shuri Daruma Temple. However, the good luck charm coin purse couldn't be redeemed for my child, so I went to Zootons (Naha branch) to redeem a burger for dinner, which was quite delicious. Thumbs up.

This time, I used the FunPass to redeem tickets for Kouri Ocean Tower, Southeast Botanical Gardens, DMM Kariyushi Aquarium, and Okinawa Zoo & Museum (children under 15 get free admission). If you have kids, I highly recommend visiting Okinawa Zoo & Museum and DMM Kariyushi Aquarium.

Super cheap. We went to the DMM Aquarium, and the kids loved it. There are many animals to feed, a very nice experience. The package also included food at the restaurant, which was delicious. Highly recommended to everyone. If I come to Okinawa again, I will buy more because it is much cheaper. Plus, there are many attractions for us to choose from, adults and children will love it.

We were able to choose two tickets, and we selected Kingdom Village and DMM Kariyushi Aquarium tickets, combining them with a Fun Pass for activities in the southern part of the island. At Gyokusendo Cave, the kids mentioned that water kept dripping on their shoulders. It's also worth noting that if you're tall or large, some paths can be easy to bump into and are slippery. The Taiko drum show was great but too short; this time, they didn't invite audience members on stage to dance in a circle (the kids said it was too noisy). DMM Kariyushi Aquarium was small but beautiful, and we were very rushed. After visiting DMM, we only had half an hour to explore the outlet. The beach was the most popular with the kids, but we didn't have much time there either.

Will I receive a physical Okinawa FunPASS after purchase?
No, this pass is an electronic voucher. Please download the OKINAWA FunPASS app to redeem your electronic tickets. If you do not receive the voucher after purchase, please contact the purchase channel.
How do I activate my Okinawa FunPASS after purchase?
- Download the Okinawa FunPASS APP and enter the activation code (multiple codes can be bound to one phone).
- Enter personal information to activate the PASS.
- At partner attractions or stores, open the APP and show the QR code within the APP to the store staff for verification. Please note whether any attractions or stores require advance reservations.
What is the validity period of the Okinawa FunPASS?
It is valid for 5 days. This means that you need to use all the tickets within 5 days from the first use (including the day of first use). For example, if you use a ticket at 9:00 AM on January 1st, the tickets will be valid until 11:59 PM on January 5th.
Do I have to use the PASS on the travel date I entered during activation?
No, when you activate the card, you will initially select a planned travel date. However, if you do not actually make a reservation or visit and verify at the attractions or stores, the planned travel date can be adjusted.
How long do I have to activate the pass after purchase? Is there a latest usage date?
You need to activate the PASS within one year of purchase. For example, if you purchase it on January 1, 2024, you must activate it by January 1, 2025.
