Shikoku Aquarium Ticket

Both the permanent and special exhibitions were fun aquariums packed with attention to detail! Each aquarium had enjoyable titles and explanations, and when I visited at the end of November 2025, there was an exhibition with the theme of "creatures changing their clothes." This year, when I felt left behind by the changing seasons, it was a wonderful exhibition that made me realize that autumn really exists and that the seasons do change. The feeding and playing times were also at just the right timing and length to be seen, and I think children will enjoy it. The permanent exhibits all had unique aquarium shapes, allowing you to enjoy them from angles and perspectives that you can't see at other aquariums. The handwritten boards were also interesting, and I think it's the best aquarium where you can feel the staff's love and respect for their work and the sea creatures.

Conclusion: A venue quite suitable for both adults and children, not too crowded. Venue: The aquarium is mainly divided into outdoor and indoor areas. Outdoor: Dolphins/Penguins/Seals/Penguins/Instagrammable photo spots/... Indoor: Aquariums/Various fish/King crabs/Pearl opening experience (fee applies) Impressions: (1) Low crowd density, very comfortable to stroll around, the overall space is not too big. (2) Some animals don't have much living space, but seeing the manta ray's "smiling face" always brings a smile to your face. (3) A surprising highlight is being able to watch the baby dolphin show from a very close distance (standing by the pool), and there are very few spectators, so it's not crowded. (4) Klook tickets are basically the same price as buying them on-site, but discount coupons/rewards are available.

The aquarium isn't very large. It's best to check the animal show times in advance and plan your visit accordingly. It's not far from the station, so you can walk, take a taxi, or a bus.

You can use it immediately after purchase. Just scan the QR code to enter, no need to exchange for a physical ticket. The Shikoku Aquarium isn't huge, but it has a good variety of exhibits. It wasn't too crowded, so we could take our time looking around and taking photos. You can also get quite close to the animals. You could easily spend half a day there.

Rather small but still pretty cool, lots of beautiful fish to see. The dolphin show was for sure the highlight, amazingly done. Most of the texts / explanations are manually written and Japanese only unfortunately, if you don’t understand the language the otter exhibition for instance won’t be too interesting.

Although the aquarium isn't very big, the overall experience is a lot of fun! I definitely recommend taking the time to watch the dolphin show, and you can also admire sea lions, seals, and penguins up close. Highly recommended!

It's a bit cheaper than buying tickets at the door. You just scan the e-code at the entrance and go right in, very convenient! Experience: Excellent, it saves time waiting in line to buy tickets!
