Weta Workshop Unleashed in Auckland was a very interactive and immersive experience from start to finish. The exhibits pulled us into the world of movie magic in such a creative way. Our guide was great and amusing, adding fun energy to the tour. I only wished there was more time to fully soak in every detail. Nonetheless, it was a fantastic experience that I’d definitely recommend.

An insightful and educational workshop-tour. Led by bubbly "Induction Officer" Mac, we were brought through different stages of behind the scenes of movie production. We were allowed to touch/operate and feel some tools and the intricate props as well. There were also some interactive stations which were fascinating. A well run and thoroughly enjoyable session.

we had an excellent experienced during our visit in the workshop! the artist did an incredible job artworks. all the props and staff are really spectacular!!! kudos to our tour guide his name is Jack! he explained well all the artworks and stuffs.

Excellent experience - Our guide, Kat, was very friendly and knowledgeable, taking us through the work that Weta Studios has done to help produce spectacular films like the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies. Hyped to visit the Weta Cave in Wellington one day!

I had an awesome time at Wet a Workshop! We were lucky to be part of a small group, which meant we got to really dive into all the interactive activities. It was a super hands-on experience, and the staff made it fun and engaging throughout. Highly recommend visiting if you’re looking for something creative and memorable to do.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! That’s the way to describe this experience. I highly recommend Weta Workshop to everyone visiting Auckland. I went there with my husband and two young kids, and we loved it! my youngest four-year-old was a bit afraid of the dark sessions, but apart from that, it was fabulous. It’s a great way to learn what’s going on behind the scenes in the movies and you can actually touch and feel everything. The guide was so great and funny, and considerate about all participants. This was a good way to show our kids that what they see on TV isn’t true. A valuable lesson. 😉 I would love to go again when visiting Auckland. It was one of our best experiences in New Zealand. Just book it - you won’t regret it!!

Wētā Unleashed was hands down the best interactive tour I've had. not only did we get to marvel at the work of their artists, but we got to give it a go ourselves! For any creative, or just anyone curious about movie magic, I'd 100% recommend this tour!

Really interesting and engaging, shout out to guide Marcus who brought us through the different aspects and departments of the workshop. There were also lockers (free rental) for us to keep heavy bags/ coats.

I really loved this experience! the guide was awesome and the exhibits were all very interactive. have also been to thr wellington's but I think both are very different! love the sets in Auckland's! highly recommended to go if u have time in Auckland!

very interactive experience with lots of opportunities to be hands-on with the various exhibits. great experience for kids & adults alike. especially if you're interested in what goes on behind the scenes of your fav movies.
