Bought this discounted ticket for our whole family. Way cheaper to buy here than at the entrance. You just need to show all IDs/ passport at the entrance and they will scan the qr code for each ticket. The park is huge, so arrive as soon as they open so you get to see all the animals, the shows are free but the rest needs to be paid like rides & games at the amusement park, train ride around the zoo, feeding of animals and make sure to do the bus cage ride to see the tigers & lions up close before 4pm. we weren't able to make it in time so we missed that part. Otherwise, the whole family enjoyed though it was hot and we did at least 18k steps around the zoo. Food wasn't that good and quite pricey, so suggest to have a heavy breakfast and bring some snacks instead from outside.
Great deal through Klook for HKID holders! The lines weren’t long at all and the tickets lasted us all day. Lots of different animals to visit and you can pay extra to feed them as well. We enjoyed it a lot.
Although old, its one of the best Zoos i have been to. There was a wide variety of animals inside and i love the interaction you can get with the animals unlike many other zoos. Although the extra ¥ to pay was slightly high if you are to feed all the animals in the zoo, i personally feel that u can pick ur favourite few and just feed a few of them but definitely do not miss the lions as it was an amazing experience. Overall, very nice experience ! will definitely bring my family to try it
The zoo has a good layout of the different animal areas. If you have children, I recommend taking a taxi as it's more convenient. Inside, there's a tram that runs around the zoo. If you charter it for the day for three people, including a child, it's 100 yuan. The food is mainly in the panda zone, with other options scattered around. I definitely recommend checking it out. If you take the metro, get off at the Xili station, the last stop.
dont miss the tiger feeding, rmb50 starting wt 11am, marvellous! do buy the one day coach ticket, the zoo is huge esp in such weather, definitely worth the money( rmb40 for adult). so many things to see that we cant finish all
The park was great fun for the little one. Plenty of wild animals to see and can feed at an extra fee. Pony rides are also available at an additional cost. The shows are fun and entertaining. Overall the safari park is a good outdoor experience. The hotel navigation could be improved with proper English name as it could not be found on the maps.
This is my second time going there. I had a great time last year and there were some places I didn’t have enough time to visit last time. This time I watched "Beasts of the Wild". I hadn't been there before because I don't like circuses, but I heard that there was a scene where a large group of birds were flying together, so I watched it. It turns out that it is not a circus. It just requires the elephants to do some simple natural behaviors/release a group of sheep to eat/release some birds to fly, rather than some dramas requiring them to do strange behaviors. When a large flock of birds flew out, everyone shouted excitedly! ! ! Photos can't capture the shock! Seeing a large group of sheep being let out to "perform" eating, I was surprised that the zoo had a conscience and would not perform some weird and incomprehensible performances. But there was one scene where a black bear was driving an electric bike, which I didn’t like. It was weird. I really want to know how they make more than a hundred birds fly at the same time. I hope the training behind it does no harm. The difficult acrobatic performances are performed by humans, which is very good. I heard that there really is a performance called circus in the park, and it seems that you have to pay extra. I really won’t go to watch it. I don’t want to see animals doing unnatural behaviors, and I can’t imagine how they are trained behind the scenes. In fact, this zoo is free-range, which is quite good. It is recommended to arrive as early as possible, because the animals will not play with you after they have eaten in the afternoon. The place is very large. This is my second visit and there are still some areas I have not visited. Both times we stayed in a nearby hotel for one night before leaving so we wouldn't feel rushed.
A great experience for kids from train rides, animal feeding from tigers, bears, horses and birds to Horseback riding and Ice skeeting. Bit challenging for foreign tourists with the language barrier though. Hope they can have some English speaking help.
The park is HUGE and has a range of animals. You can even choose to take a mini-train or drive an electric cart to go around. You can feed the animals for a reasonable price. The park also hosts shows so make sure to check the timings so you don't miss out.
A visit to the park is a wonderful way to spend the day. The enclosures are spacious and well-maintained, providing ample room for the animals. I highly recommend a visit for a fun and educational experience.
