What to expect
Bees! Ants! Worms! Have the most interesting 3-in-1 excursion to a rooftop farm: Go up close to animals crucial to our ecosystem! An interactive farm experience, perfect for kids and young families.
Don a bee suit and inspect native honeybees' nests up close. Every colony in the apiary is rescued (saved from extermination)! Watch them hard at work harvesting pollen and nectar.
Learn more about ants, often misunderstood as 'pests'. Observe different species going about their daily lives in wacky formicariums (underground lairs) and do some live feeding. See them up close with macrophotography!
Go on a worm hunt in the bioactive garden! Caress these peaceful critters and understand how they help create healthy soil. Finally create and take home your own (optional) vermicomposting kit.

What a lovely afternoon we had learning about different plants, bees and nature in general. It was so intriguing to taste different types of honey side by side whilst learning from our very engaging host, Clarence.
