What to expect
Experience the Icelandic horse amid beautiful natural surroundings just outside Reykjavík’s city center. Friendly horses and specially trained guides lead riders along excellent paths, showcasing the unique qualities of the Icelandic horse against scenic lava fields and green hillsides. Riding time is 1.5–2 hours, with the full tour lasting about 4 hours including transfers. After returning to the stables, complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available, and staff are ready to answer any questions about the horses. Suitable for both beginners and experienced riders, the tour offers a safe and enjoyable outing. Groups are arranged by riding skill to ensure a comfortable experience. The stables are located just 20 minutes from central Reykjavík
