After the rain, the surroundings are quiet, the air is washed clean, and the soil is nourished, as if something is about to sprout. "After the Rain" establishes a mood that connects the works through the shared empathy of "after a rainy day." Technology and materials become mediums in these creations to shape bodily and sensory experiences, making nature not just an object to be viewed, but an experience that can be perceived by the body.
This exhibition will present dual creative axes for the first time: Studio Swine, which focuses on design experiments, tracing the flow of materials and the stories of their origins; and A.A. Murakami, which focuses on contemporary art practice, blending art and technology to use ephemeral materials and states of matter to create immersive experiences. The exhibition will explore the multiple relationships among nature, materials, and technology through six major series of works. You are invited to step into the exhibition, much like taking a slow walk after the rain, and experience the new nature taking shape.
