《REC&LiVE Showcast》New Type of Live Performance
● Founded by Golden Melody Award winner Huang Tzu-hsuan and rooted in the Old Town Dongmen Market of Hsinchu City, "Dongmen REC&LiVE" is a performance brand centered on local Hakka arts and culture. It has been nominated for the Broadcast Golden Bell Awards three times and won Best Genre Music Program.
● Selected as one of the top ten trendy venues in Hsinchu's Dongmen Market, REC&LiVE's unique performance format has been praised as a pearl within the Dongmen Market.
● Cross-ethnic Alpha-generation Hakka music immersion
This event highlights "new generations and the Alpha generation" as its main theme, featuring opening acts by local Hsinchu student clubs and main performances by up-and-coming Hakka musicians.
● Combining Taiwan's local music x live performance x Podcast show
Allowing online listeners and live audiences to share a cultural experience blending auditory and visual senses.
● With limited seating per show and unique musical arrangements, nearly dozens of limited-edition events have been held since 2020, with half of the sessions selling out.

What to expect
[Hsinchu Old Town Top 100 Cultural Venues x Hakka Music Live Performances x Hsinchu Local Alpha Generation Incubator]
This project is co-produced by "Uchiyama Small Cultural Enterprise Co., Ltd." and the broadcasting Golden Bell Award-winning team "Dongmen REC&LiVE". Echoing the theme "Dongmen Market Autumn Launch x Hakka Alpha Generation Incubator", it is planned to hold 8 weekend-limited Open Studio Live performances in the "Autumn (October-December)" of 2026. Each performance will last about 2 hours, featuring consecutive performances by middle-generation and new-generation Hakka musicians.

◾Performance Time: 2026/10/3 (Sat) 19:00-20:30 (Performance duration 90 minutes; seating opens half an hour prior) ◾Location: Hsinchu • Dongmen REC&LiVE ◾Ticket Price: Advance ticket: NT$500 / Door ticket: NT$600 (Limited quantity; if advance tickets sell out, door tickets will not be available) ◾Ticketing Time: Sales begin on 2026/09/24 (Thu) 12:00 ◾Introduction to the performing lineup “TRAEGO”: TRAEGO Derived from the Hakka word for pitiful/unfortunate (衰過 coiˊgo), established in late 2021. “” Cynical Hakka punk, sincerely recording the prevarications of the world. Accused human oversights become society’s precious malignant tumors. Targeting faults, insufficient preparation, pure filth. “” TRAEGO is the first Hakka punk band in history. Centered on raw and fierce Hakka punk, they transform the complex emotions of youth migrating north to the city, labor issues, and hometown nostalgia into straightforward and explosive rhythms, overturning the public’s established impression of Hakka music.
This steadfast rock energy ushered in a full-scale outbreak in 2025, not only being nominated for Best New Group at the 18th Freshmusic Awards, but also sweeping the 36th Golden Melody Awards with their creative album, being nominated in one fell swoop for Best Hakka Singer, Best Hakka Album, and Album of the Year. In addition to domestic recognition, TRAEGO was recently invited to cross the ocean to participate in Canada's "Taiwanfest", embarking on the [RALLY FOR TAIWAN: TRAEGO] tour across landmark stages in Toronto and Vancouver, showcasing Taiwan's purest resilience in living to the world through the most authentic Hakka punk.
