Yulong River Bamboo Raft Drifting
New Activity
Yangshuo
- “Little Lijiang” Top Karst Landscape: Known as “Little Lijiang”, the river is emerald green and clear, with continuous bamboo forests and beautiful peaks on both banks, forming an original ecological pastoral landscape painting. The scenery is quiet and elegant, more tranquil and less crowded than the Lijiang River, perfect for taking photos. It ranks 3rd on Guangxi’s list of water activities for summer.
- Original Ecological Manual Bamboo Rafting Experience: Using a two-person manual bamboo raft, the boatman poles slowly, with no motor noise, allowing for an immersive, close-up journey through the mountains and waters. Along the way, there are several small dams and gentle slopes, making it a smooth and relaxing experience suitable for all ages. The river offers wide views, perfect for capturing stunning photos of mountain and water reflections.
- Day and Night Scenery Options: During the day, enjoy rafting and admire the green mountains, bamboo, and pastoral scenery. At night, experience the night tour (Yulong Night Rafting here), where the lights reflecting on the river create a unique atmosphere. It ranks No. 13 on Guangxi’s list of must-visit night attractions, offering a rare night-time entertainment option.

What to expect
- Differentiate from motorized large boats on the Lijiang River: hand-paddled bamboo rafts, quiet and ecological, close to the water.
- Day and night dual mode: daytime rafting to see the mountains and rivers, night tours to see the lights, rarely seen in similar scenic spots.
