• The Biwako Terrace cable car and admission fees are at your own expense. The estimated cost is approximately 5,000 JPY per person (including round-trip cable car, unlimited chairlift rides, and admission to Biwako Terrace). An additional 500 JPY per person will be charged on specific dates (August 8–16, 2026, and September 20–22). Fees may vary due to season or operational conditions, and the final price will be based on the actual charges at the scenic spot on the day of your visit.
• The admission fee for Sanzen-in Temple needs to be paid separately. The reference fee is 700 JPY per person (400 JPY per person for high school and junior high school students, 150 JPY per person for elementary school students). • If the Biwako Terrace observation deck is closed for maintenance (September 7-11, 2026; November 24-December 18, 2026) or temporarily closed, the visit will be uniformly adjusted to Sanzen-in Temple instead.

• This activity is not recommended for anyone with certain medical conditions such as high blood pressure, epilepsy, etc.
• Participants who appear intoxicated may be refused service. In this case, no refunds will be given
• Please dress accordingly depending on the day's weather conditions
• For smooth entry, please refrain from wearing flip flops, shorts, tank tops, or sleeveless shirts
• It is your responsibility to inform the operator if you have any special health conditions. The operator is not responsible for any adverse effects which may arise from any treatment.

Vehicle & luggage info

• The operator has the right to refuse a reservation if the group size or luggage exceeds the capacity of the reserved vehicle. In this case, no refunds will be issued

Cancellation policy

• You'll get a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hour(s) before the activity date (destination local time)
• In case of unforeseen events or extreme weather, the operator reserves the right to cancel the tour. If this happens, you have the option to reschedule or request a full refund
• If you've participated in at least one activity, visited at least one attraction or used one of the tickets, refunds can't be issued
• Be aware that the approval of reschedules, amendments or refunds are subject to availability
• The activity will be cancelled if there is not a minimum of 4 participants. If this happens, you'll get a rescheduled time or refund
