Enjoy a relaxing ride from Hiroshima to Iwakuni. The train cars are beautifully prepared, and the staff was very accommodating. There were small presentations and an onboard shop. However, this is only a one-way trip; you'll need to use a different connection for the return journey. There's plenty to discover in both Iwakuni and Miyajima.
It was great that I could use it even though I booked it the day before. The price might seem a bit high, but considering the train's amenities, I was quite satisfied! It's only available during specific periods, so if you get the chance, I recommend using it for a one-way trip.
Although the travel time from Hiroshima to Iwakuni is short, you can elegantly enjoy the beautiful scenery of Miyajima and the Seto Inland Sea from the train window. Snacks and novelties are also included, which is very satisfying.
