What to expect

Greetings, Sutra Chanting, and Explanation A monk will offer greetings in the main hall and chant the Hannya Shingyo (Heart Sutra). An explanation of the history of Ryuganji Temple and other topics will be provided. Zen Meditation Amidst the pure sounds of Buddhist instruments, you will enter the world of Zen meditation, savoring the words of the scriptures. Drone Buddhas Six drone Buddhas will dance in formation within the hall. Please experience the Buddhist belief that when we face our final moments, Amitabha Buddha will come to greet us with various Bodhisattvas. Original Gacha Buddhist altar craftsmen have utilized traditional techniques to create an original gacha machine. Please admire its beautiful form. Japanese Tea and Wagashi Move to the Japanese-style room and calmly enjoy Japanese tea and wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets).

Please note that activities may be canceled due to funerals or other events for Ryuganji Temple parishioners. In such cases, the full participation fee will be refunded.
