- This exhibition is curated by the renowned curator Cui Cancan and will feature more than 10 large-scale installations, sculptures, and paper manuscripts, unfolding an in-depth narrative about memory, diaspora, identity, and borders within a globalized context.
- The exhibition title, "Time Difference," describes the themes of immigration, identity, alienation, migration and daily life, and personal private memories that often appear in Shen Yuan's works. It also comes from Shen Yuan's life trajectory as a female art worker for decades.
- Here, private everyday objects, precious emotional fragments, moments of silence and connection are transformed by Shen Yuan's unique language into works with memory characteristics.
