You have to go down quite a few stairs to reach the underground area. The tour guide was very entertaining and explained a lot about the history of the mine. Make sure to stay with the group so you don't get separated. It's a spectacular underground world.

On the day of the Wieliczka Salt Mine tour, the bus driver was very punctual and drove very smoothly. Upon arrival at the destination, a staff member had already arranged our admission tickets. The only downside was that after seeing the mine, we felt very rushed to get back to the bus. This was because leaving the salt mine required a long walk to queue for the elevator, and then we had to go through another park to reach the parking lot. It was quite a rush! I hope more time can be allocated for the return journey to catch the bus.
