- Check out this treasure trove in the city center! Get up close with national treasure giant pandas and imposing white tigers, and unlock immersive science exploration! A must-visit for families, featuring adorable pet feeding/animal classes. Enjoy easy access to the rare animal world via subway, and embark on a healing and fun adventure!
- Guangzhou Zoo, located on the eastern section of Xian烈 Middle Road, was built in 1958. It is one of the three major urban zoos in China, along with Beijing Zoo and Shanghai Zoo. The zoo is suitable for family trips, where you can bring your children to learn about small animals and also visit the Ocean World and the amusement park. Here, you can see rare animals such as China’s national treasure giant pandas, as well as golden monkeys, South China tigers, milu deer, and black-necked cranes. You can also see animals from all over the world, such as hippos, rhinos, and African elephants.
- In addition to the animal viewing area, there are also themed areas such as Guangzhou Ocean World, Butterfly Garden, Jinlin Garden (where you can see goldfish), Amusement Park (with some small amusement facilities such as carousels, bumper cars, and log flume rides), Dou趣园, and Qishi (Strange Stone) Museum.
- Dou趣园 is especially suitable for children, allowing close contact with animals such as alpacas and lambs. In addition, zookeepers feed hippos, elephants, pelicans, and other animals at fixed times every day. If you are interested, you can go to watch at the corresponding times.
