Iya Valley in Tokushima Prefecture is one of “Japan’s Three Great Unexplored Regions.” You can tour the thrilling “Kazura Bridge” and the scenic Oboke Gorge in a half-day on a shuttle bus departing from Kotohira. ＜Kazura Bridge＞ The legendary “Kazura Bridge” quietly stands deep in the mountains of Iya, Tokushima. This suspension bridge, woven with hardy kiwi vines and stretching 45 meters in length, offers a thrilling experience with a view of the valley through the gaps at your feet, as well as a spectacular view surrounded by untouched nature. It is one of the few unexplored spots in Japan where you can enjoy both at the same time.
