Jeju Haenyeo Experience

Really enjoyed this experience! The guides were friendly, everything was well organized, and it was a fun way to learn about the Haenyeo culture. A unique activity that's worth trying if you're visiting Jeju 😁

HIGHLY recommend to anyone visiting jeju. the staff were all so lovely and a good amount of them spoke good english! they guided you on how to dive and took your picture so many times throughout the whole experience. also gave you seafood ramen when you were finished. could not recommend enough!

Very quick service - staff who helps you out putting on and removing wetsuit/drysuit and gears, takes amazing photos of you diving and picking shells in the water for the first half of the experience (a great memorabilia!) and cooks ramen after the dive. During the experience, we were taught how to dive with a snorkel for the first half of the time. But as a first-time snorkeler, I hope the staff had complete supervision for the group throughout the experience as I got worried about snorkeling to catch shells and drowning unsupervised. Also, I was a little let down when we weren’t allowed to take photos of all of the catch we got at the end of the experience.

Excellent experience. Quality equipment and facilities are functional and clean! Friendly and patient staff who will get you diving and having fun photo ops. Must do :)

I had a great experience snorkeling! The leaders were very nice and helpful, and as an English speaker, it was great that they could give me some instructions in English. I had a great time catching shells and octopus , and eating ramen afterwards while looking out to the water. 10/10 Would recommend!

I loved my experience, the staff was very warm and kind, I especially recommend it for couples since they let you choose your matching hats so it was very easy to recognize my partner while in the water! if you do not know any Korean you might struggle a bit with instructions but the staff is there to correct you and guide you so you will be okay. I do not know how to swim but the staff helped me get around. The meal after hits specially good after the swim!

Such a great experience. The staff are so friendly, make you feel very comfortable and the overall experience is just so much fun. You are even treated to a seafood ramen at the end. I now have photo's to highlight the memories of a lifetime.

Highly recommend. The team were amazing. The experience was great! Suggest to wear swimmers underneath the diving suit but they're also ok with undergarments. Went with a friend who couldn't swim and the team were very accommodating and attentive. The team took soooo many photos before and during the dive and share it digitally with you afterwards. you also get to take photos with a Haenyeo which was an awesome surprise. After the activity, there is a shower room which I recommend taking advantage of cause the dive is in salty waters. There are also some skincare for use after the shower. very thoughtful. Activity is finished with a serving of ramen, another bonus, as we were famished after over 1hr in the waters. Would highly recommend and would do it again in a heartbeat!! thank you team!!!

It was a fantastic experience! The coaches were all very attentive and responsible. After diving, they even provided us with food and small gifts. The most important thing is that they took many beautiful photos for us, which is highly commendable. About an hour or two later, they sent the photos to us via LINE, so remember to install the app!

My daughter and I traveled from the states for this experience and it did NOT disappoint! All the staff members were helpful and enthusiastic. As first timers it was a leaning experience that ignited a love of diving for us both! We were able to see many kinds of fish, take unique photos and even were able to meet a Haenyo. Seeing an octopus was also a highlight. I highly recommend this experience. Everyone who visits Jegu should do this experience!!!
