Tokyo Mount Fuji & Gotemba Full-Day Private Tour

Very convenient and great value for money for a family of four. Ali is very accommodating to allow us to customize the order of locations in the itinerary, add extra stops for rest or for photo ops on the way to 5th Station and to extend the tour up to 2 hours to allow for more time in Gotemba during the Golden Week Sale. The van is very clean, comfortable and spacious.

Our driver Ali deserves 10 stars! He was early to pick us up, very personable, spoke/understood English very well, gave great insight to our Japan questions as well as recommendations for what we wanted to do, knew the traffic, suggested spots with less tourists and still has views. Today was definitely the highlight of our trip with perfect weather too! It was worth the extra money for a private charter so we could customize the trip and have extra time at certain places. Highly recommend this company especially our driver who was so easy to converse with and accomadate our family to create priceless memories in comfort!

Despite the unfortunate weather that prevented us from seeing Mt. Fuji, our overall experience was fantastic. Sherry, our driver, was incredibly helpful and possessed exceptional navigation and driving skills. I highly recommend this tour and Sherry as our driver. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and are eager to return and finally witness the majestic Mt. Fuji.

The trip was very hassle-free since the driver picks you up and drops you off at your chosen spots. We were picked up at 6 AM in Ikebukuro and reached our first stop, the famous Lawson, by 7:30 AM. The ride was smooth and comfy — we even slept since it was an early pick-up. Just a heads-up: If your goal is to make the most out of both Mt. Fuji and Gotemba Premium Outlets, time might feel a bit limited. Our stops were super quick — <10 mins at Lawson and Lake Kawaguchiko, ~30 mins at Hancho St./FamilyMart, and ~40 mins at Chureito Pagoda. From Chureito, we got to Gotemba at around 10:30 AM and left at 2 PM to be back in Tokyo by 4 PM. Tip: Coordinate your “target spots” with the driver so they can plan the best route and tell you if it fits the schedule. We thought the Mt. Fuji part was guided or had default stops, but you actually need to give them your list. Overall, the trip was comfy and convenient — no long walks or transfers, perfect for kids and seniors.

We went on a day that it was predicted to rain and snow so we knew we wouldn’t be able to see Mt. Fuji, however the experience was still amazing and the snow added a magical touch to our trip! Our driver Musa was very friendly and could converse in English. Musa was also very knowledgeable and gave us pointers on where to go and what to look out for!

Thank you Imran for the excellent service in taking us to Chureito Pagoda for the Mount Fuji view photos, the boat ride at Lake Yamanakako, and finally stopping by Gotemba Outlet. He even patiently waited for us until we finished shopping. Truly outstanding service from Imran.

Our driver/guide was incredible — he brought us to the best tourist spots with fewer people, so we were able to take beautiful photos quickly and comfortably. “Our Mt. Fuji tour was a wonderful experience and very well organized. Osman, our tour guide, was the best. He shared clear explanations and information at every stop. The drive was smooth and comfortable, and everything started on time. The itinerary flowed well, beginning with the pagoda, then Lake Kawaguchi, Lawson photo stop, and ending at Gotemba. 5th station was supposed to be included but closed as of today due to slippery road. Each location was beautiful. Time management was very good overall, especially at the main sightseeing spots, and Osman made sure everyone knew where to meet and when. The only thing we would have loved is more time at Gotemba, as there was so much to see and do there. Overall, this was a well-planned, smooth, and memorable Mt. Fuji tour. Osman did a great job making the day comfortable and informative. We highly recommend this tour, especially for first-time visitors who want to see Mt. Fuji highlights with an excellent guide.”
