What to expect

  • In the morning, you can choose to take a high-speed train from Shanghai to Wuxi, or gather in Wuxi city center and depart for the Lingshan Scenic Area. The first stop is the Lingshan Grand Buddha, where you will pay homage to the 88-meter-tall outdoor bronze statue of Sakyamuni Buddha and experience the solemnity and grandeur of Buddhist culture.
  • Afterwards, step into the Lingshan Brahma Palace, a magnificent palace that houses artistic treasures, resplendent and breathtaking. Here, you can admire exquisite Buddhist art sculptures and murals, and appreciate the profound heritage of Buddhist culture.
  • In the afternoon, head to Yuantouzhu, a peninsula on the northwest bank of Taihu Lake in Wuxi. It is named for a huge rock protruding into the lake, shaped like a floating turtle raising its head.
