Enjoy the Northwest · Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop 7-Day Tour

Itinerary: The itinerary was quite well-planned, and we got to experience beautiful scenery at almost every attraction. In the evenings, we even had time to explore local markets, which made us feel quite immersed in the culture. Accommodation: We chose comfortable accommodation. The customer service team had informed us in advance that accommodation options in the Northwest might be limited, but it was better than expected, and cleanliness was the most important thing. Tour Guide: Our driver, Wu Zhong, was a friendly gentleman in his 40s. He was very talkative, took great care of me throughout the trip, and drove very steadily. Attractions: The small experiences arranged at the attractions were excellent; it wasn't one of those "sleep on the bus, only take photos when you get off" type of arrangements.

I was initially scared to ride a horse in the Qilian Grassland, but the woman leading the horse said, "Don't be afraid, this horse is even better behaved than my grandson." I was trembling when I got on, but the horse just slowly walked half a circle on its own. My legs were stiff the whole time, and when I got off, I realized my palms were drenched in sweat. But! A guy from my tour group took a picture of me looking so timid, and when he sent it to me that night, I laughed until my stomach hurt (I won't post that photo). Every scenic spot was beautiful. A drone is truly essential when visiting the Northwest, otherwise, you really can't capture that magnificent beauty! My social media feed was full of nine-picture grids every day; it was truly stunning!

The weather was sunny the entire trip, with daytime temperatures around 86°F (30°C) and nighttime temperatures in the low 50s°F (10-15°C), dry and not sticky. The Northwest truly offers a vast and beautiful landscape, with magnificent desert oases, lakes, and camels. The journey involved quite a bit of driving, but the travel agency provided a comfortable business van. Our driver, Chen Yong, drove very smoothly and shared a lot of information with us during the ride. The travel agency's service was also excellent; they helped us with ticket bookings when we weren't sure how to proceed. I would definitely recommend them to friends who plan to visit in the future.

This 7-day tour of the Northwest Grand Loop truly opened my eyes! The drone aerial photography experience was also fantastic; it felt like being in a movie scene! If you visit the Northwest without a drone, the awe factor drops significantly! The route we took included "fresh and bright" landscapes like Qinghai Lake and Chaka Salt Lake, as well as "dark-themed" scenery like Heidu Mountain, and "culturally rich" sites like the Mogao Grottoes. With grasslands and snow-capped mountains, every single attraction was unique. I feel this trip was incredibly worthwhile!

This trip along the Great Northwest Loop was truly exhausting, but absolutely worth it! The beauty of Qinghai Lake is beyond words; standing by the lake, you can feel the power of nature. The mirror effect at Chaka Salt Lake is incredibly stunning, and the photos you take are almost unbelievable. The sight of the desert and spring at Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring made me feel the magic of nature... A special thanks to Master Lu, who accompanied us throughout the journey. He was very enthusiastic and humorous, always respectful, and promptly communicated and resolved any issues we had. Highly recommended!

Experiencing the vastness of the Northwest, I rediscovered the charm of nature. The scenery at Qinghai Lake and Chaka Salt Lake was incredibly stunning; if I hadn't seen it myself, I would have thought it was fake. Photos taken with a phone simply don't capture the beauty seen with the naked eye. The interwoven desert and spring at Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring offered a truly unique experience, and riding a camel was also very interesting. The driver was very attentive, and the accommodations were comfortable. Overall, I was extremely satisfied.

Our tour leader was an incredibly professional and thoughtful driver. We were impressed by his punctuality, driving skills, service attitude, and patience. The entire trip was made more enjoyable and memorable because of him. The itinerary was very well planned and reasonable! If we have the opportunity to visit Northwest China again, we will definitely choose his services again, and we highly recommend him to other travelers. The small group tour we booked this time truly exceeded our expectations! The scenery of the Great Northwest was so magnificent it left us speechless. We were particularly awestruck by the pristine beauty of Qarhan Salt Lake and the artistic heritage of the Mogao Grottoes, which has been preserved for thousands of years. The journey was long, and we were on the road almost every day. Our driver worked incredibly hard but always maintained a cheerful attitude, sharing many local anecdotes and interesting stories with us along the way. This trip was unforgettable, the scenery was beautiful, and we were incredibly lucky to have such a great team and tour leader. We had a wonderful time for a small price. Today is the last day of our trip, and I especially want to thank our driver and tour leader, Xiao Zhong. He was enthusiastic and humorous, bringing us a lot of joy throughout the journey. The scenery in the Northwest is indeed beautiful, and while the journey was quite long, the local customs and experiences along the way were definitely worth it. Overall, the trip was fantastic, and I hope to have the opportunity to visit again in the future.

The other tourists in our small group were all very easy to communicate with and well-mannered. Everyone was quite punctual for our agreed-upon times, and sometimes we even split the cost of meals together, which was a lot of fun. This might be considered one of the advantages of a small group tour! The scenery was truly breathtaking. For someone who grew up in an inland city, seeing the grandeur of the Great Northwest was quite impactful! I'm very satisfied with this trip! Highly recommend!
