The Sanam Chai station is very close. You can buy tickets on the spot and use them immediately. You can bring your own goggles or sunglasses; the free ones provided are often too foggy, so choose carefully. Make sure to wear your goggles properly to avoid getting burned by ejected shell casings, which happened to my lower eyelid twice. Don't mind the cold and poor attitude of the counter staff, especially the one in the middle of the photo.
This was our second experience, and it was great! It was quite crowded, perhaps because it was Golden Week. Four of us girls participated. This kind of experience is hard to come by, so everyone was delighted and said, "It was so much fun!"
There was no Japanese, everything was in English, but with gestures, the explanation got across ✋ I'm glad I had such a great experience 👍 However, I didn't hit the target at all 💦 The impact and sound of the gun were amazing 💥 I'm really glad I was able to have this kind of experience because you can't do it in Japan! I recommend it to everyone ♡ It's near a temple, so I also enjoyed sightseeing!
The instructor will properly teach you how to hold and shoot the gun. It's one-on-one instruction with the instructor in a partitioned area, similar to a batting cage. They also take photos and videos for you. Even though it was my first time shooting live ammunition, I enjoyed it by myself. I think it depends on the instructor, but they seem to primarily support English and a little Chinese for foreign languages. 150 rounds are used up quickly in about 15-20 minutes, so from a cost-performance perspective, it might be questionable, but I think it was a good life experience.
Fantastic experience! I booked this through Klook and it was seamless from start to finish. A huge shoutout to our instructor—he was incredibly professional and made sure all instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made me feel very safe. He also went above and beyond by taking great photos and videos for me while I was shooting. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fun and well-guided activity!
live rounds! not many countries offer that. the staff helped me take pictures and videos from the back AND front while I was shooting( he sticked his hands out in front of and under me)
Although Japanese isn't spoken, the instructor, who may seem gruff (but is not), explains things carefully. I wish the price was a bit lower. The building and equipment are not exactly pretty, but it has a certain rundown batting center vibe, which was acceptable.
It was fun. It's something you can't easily experience in Japan, so definitely try it. By the way, they say you won't hit anything the first time you shoot, but you totally will.
The staff member was incredibly kind. I was traveling alone and struggling to take photos, but he offered to take them without me even asking, which I really appreciated. I'll definitely be back!
convenient location in near sleeping temple. The reception staff is very polite but the coach may not provide much guidance to new learner. it seems like they just want you to use up all the bullet instead of enjoying the event. besides, the coach won't take picture.
