Shooting Range Experience at Territorial Defense Department Bangkok

An absolute adrenaline rush from the very first trigger pull—the recoil, power, and atmosphere were unreal. The staff kept it safe, enthusiastic, and thrilling; easily one of the most fun highlights of my Bangkok trip!

they had run out of .22 so they gave us 9mm which was just better. Got to shoot feom 5 different weapon platforms. the staff and trainers were amazing. doing this again.

The Sanam Chai station is very close. You can buy tickets on the spot and use them immediately. You can bring your own goggles or sunglasses; the free ones provided are often too foggy, so choose carefully. Make sure to wear your goggles properly to avoid getting burned by ejected shell casings, which happened to my lower eyelid twice. Don't mind the cold and poor attitude of the counter staff, especially the one in the middle of the photo.

This was our second experience, and it was great! It was quite crowded, perhaps because it was Golden Week. Four of us girls participated. This kind of experience is hard to come by, so everyone was delighted and said, "It was so much fun!"

This is my second time visiting this shooting range. The first time was on April 4, 2026, when the staff members were very polite in their interactions and guidance. However, the staff member we encountered this time on September 26, 2026, was extremely rude and unreasonable, making us feel like we never want to visit Thailand again. This time, I brought my family to the shooting range to try shooting. The staff member instructing our group was physically pushy and rough with us, and shouted loudly at us. Furthermore, there was a group next to ours accompanied by a Thai tour guide, and our staff member also shouted at that guide, demanding that he translate for the tourists. Neither of our two groups had any conversation with that shooting range staff member or asked him any questions, so why did he treat tourists with such roaring behavior? This review is the first time in my life I have ever left feedback, and I hope it will be my last. I have attached photos; please report this to the relevant department, as this staff member is unsuited for interacting with tourists. Thank you.

You can shoot live ammunition at a relatively reasonable price. The instructors were very kind and helpful. It was a truly valuable and thought-provoking experience. Thank you very much.

There was no Japanese, everything was in English, but with gestures, the explanation got across ✋ I'm glad I had such a great experience 👍 However, I didn't hit the target at all 💦 The impact and sound of the gun were amazing 💥 I'm really glad I was able to have this kind of experience because you can't do it in Japan! I recommend it to everyone ♡ It's near a temple, so I also enjoyed sightseeing!
