Listen to the introduction of the stations along the way
- [Dali Station] Dali Station is a simple station on the Taiwan Railway Yilan Line. There are not many people on weekdays. Most people who go hiking on Caoling Historic Trail and Taoyuan Valley Trail get off at this station during the hiking season. But at the back of the station, overlooking the endless Pacific coast from the platform or the overpass between platforms, and feeling the gentle breeze on your face, it is so pleasant.
- 【Toucheng Station】 Toucheng Railway Station has been in use since the Japanese colonial era. It was formerly known as "Touwei Post Station" in 1920 and was renamed "Toucheng Railway Station" in 1948. In 2020, it was upgraded from a third-class station to a second-class station. The old street in front of the train station is the earliest developed place in Yilan. Traces of the prosperity of the past can be seen from some of the architectural ruins. It combines the architectural styles of the Qing Dynasty and the Japanese colonial period and is worth a visit.
- [Houtong Station] Due to the mining of coal and gold mines in Houtong and Xiaocukeng, the Houdong Railway Station was established in 1910 and the station was renamed Houtong in 1962. It was the largest freight station attached to Ruisan Mining next to the station and held an important position at that time. After the railway was electrified, Houtong Station still retained its rural flavor. By chance, it became a village where cats gathered. It was also rated as one of the world's six best cat viewing spots.
