Fantastic 5.0

I was able to rent an audio guide for 3 euros. The content was very informative, so I recommend renting one if you plan to explore the building on your own without joining a tour. The reception staff spoke English, which was very helpful.

Fantastic 5.0

if you're interested in architectures and staying in Paris, this is a must go place! I took a train and walk (I didn't take a bus) and that was a pretty journey with the view as well.

Villa Savoye, an iconic symbol of modernist architecture, is a must-visit for design enthusiasts. Conceived by the legendary architect Le Corbusier, it embodies his revolutionary "five points of architecture." These include pilotis (support columns), a functional roof garden, open-plan interiors, horizontal windows, and a free facade, all harmonized into a sleek and innovative design. This elegant weekend retreat, built between 1928 and 1931, was so ahead of its time that it was declared a historic monument while Le Corbusier was still alive. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Villa Savoye stands as a testament to architectural innovation and creativity.
