I arrived at the hotel's 6th-floor buffet around 6:30 PM and it wasn't very crowded. The space is large and pretty. I visited the Marriott earlier in the afternoon; it had an older style with brown marble, but it lacked grandeur. Since I was staying at this hotel tonight, I chose to eat at its buffet. There was a decent variety of dishes, but the quality was generally average. It's crab season, and each person received a miniature Shanghai hairy crab, but the other frozen crabs were small and tasteless. The sign at the entrance says the regular price is $298 per person, while the room information states $268 for hotel guests. Klook offers it for $292 per head. The cooked meats looked dry and tough. The best thing was the stew. They also serve soufflé and half a baked lobster with durian.
