A long-established soup tofu specialty store with a history of more than 50 years in Arashiyama, Kyoto. The store is located in Arashiyama, the back garden of Kyoto. Pure Japanese architecture surrounded by tranquility near Tenryuji Temple. In this place, the store carefully selects ingredients unique to Kyoto over a long period of time, and serves you traditional dishes such as Saga Tofu and soup tofu. You can enjoy your meal in a modern Sukiya building designed by master Murano Togo while admiring the beautiful Japanese garden. Whether it’s a special occasion or everyday life, you are welcome to visit us at any time.

The soup tofu set here is the best. The yudofu is rich, and the tempura and Kyoto vegetable salad are also delicious. You can choose a free drink before the meal, which is very cost-effective. The view from the garden is also beautiful and impressive. The staff are also very friendly.
The setting is lovely, and there is a good number of courses, unfortunately we felt rushed through the meal and couldn’t enjoy it as much as we had hoped
