This is the most scenic place I've been. The weather was just nice for a leisurely hike. Temperature hovers around 18 degree celsius in early June and I didn't even break a sweat throughout the 3hrs hike. For those who wants to visit the Myojin shrine from the starting point at Taisho pond, do hasten your pace as there will just be enough time to finish the route back to to the bus terminal, without much time for lunch. For those who just want to take it easy, its recommended to stop at Kappa bridge which takes about 1.5h from starting point. Most of the scenic spots are from Taisho to Kappa bridge. It's the one place that you'll want to visit in every season.
Miss Amy was a very great tour guide! Her english was good and she had the best recommendations. I highly suggest to book with ther company if youd like to go to Kamikochi. Also, the bus driver, Mr Cho, was also skillful and we felt safe. thank you!
Hoined this tour on 4May25. kamikochi is so beautiful that you should not miss it. our guide is Ms 刘, we were a big group consisted of Chinese, Japanese and English speaking tourists. She doesn’t share much and the whole journey was very “peaceful”. We had 3.5hrs there but we didn’t manage to cover all the places in Kamikochi. Queue was long for lunch as it was their Japan Golden week.
Cesar is my guide and he is so kind. he explain all about kamikochi and help us to take the picture if u want. Actually the Kamikochi is wonderful place in Takayama, u must visit there if u come to Japan.

Ms Kwok 郭小姐 is a very helpful, enthusiastic guide! This trip is very smooth, very convenient for first comers. Meet up point is easy to find, with a detailed email guiding prior the trip. In the 3 hours drive, we have a toilet stop for food and washroom break. The scenic trail is very breathtaking, you must not miss in Nagoya.
I highly recommend this excursion in fact the guide speaks Chinese but made the effort to translate everything for us, she was really kind to us. We are there for 3 hours which gives us time to enjoy the landscape and the monkeys.
This was a very beautiful place. The only thing that I regret was that the tour time was so limited. But it's very understandable since the distance from Nagoya to Nagano is 4 hours long.
One of the most beautiful places I've seen in Japan. Our guide Amy was amazing and translated everything in English as well. In summer the water is christal clear.
the most beautiful place I have been to in Japan. the beginner/first time visitor trek allotted 1.5hrs is more than enough time to take photos/videos along the ways and reach the Bridge where restaurants are. you can have lunch here. try the apple pie and apple ice cream.
