Fantastic 5.0

It was originally because of the activities. I started to be interested in this place when I saw Zi Qi Dong Lai. After actually coming here, I was satisfied with the historical buildings and artworks, and also left interesting letters and comments. It is fun and fun to take pictures. It is recommended to come early in the morning. Cozy and leisurely XDD

Fantastic 5.0

The exhibition flow is smooth, and the building is very beautiful. On weekends, you might catch a music performance in the outdoor area after noon. However, be sure to use mosquito repellent in the outdoor area.

This is a very special art museum. The tour guide inside is very good. We chatted like friends and learned many special ways to use the facilities.

Fantastic 5.0

I accidentally found this spot on Google Map. In the past, I only went to the Little White House next door. The service staff inside explained Mr. Wu’s works in detail, which gave me a deeper understanding of his creative process. The sound postcards inside were quite interesting. Combining the postcards of Mr. Wu’s works + the Qrcode of my own voice to pass to relatives and friends is even more heartwarming👍

Fantastic 5.0

We arrived just in time for a guided tour, so we tagged along. It's true that you might not get much out of just looking at the paintings themselves. The reproduction techniques used are quite impressive. The garden design is also very well thought out. Plus, there are some nice historical sites nearby worth checking out.

The view is really great, but the road there is difficult.. However, the atmosphere of the road is nice, so if you have a lot of time to spare, I recommend walking there. The building itself is pretty, so it is fun to look at, but it is a shame to go there just to see the view.

Guide

The Wu Deng-Yi Art Museum was founded in Taiwan's landmark building, Taipei 101.
In 2023, a new branch was opened in the Missionary Hostel within the Tamsui Historical Park in New Taipei City, renovating and revitalizing historical buildings and courtyards that had been built successively since 1875.
It continues the lifelong artistic achievements and results of Taiwan's renowned ink wash artist, Mr. Wu Deng-Yi, within this century-old building.
With an open attitude that integrates East and West, it aims to create an international art and cultural platform for Taiwanese local art to interact with the world, promoting the charm and value of contemporary ink wash art.
