Room thermostat stuck at 63, staff said they would fix it but didn't. Toilet tank leaked (to toilet, not floor), breakfast potatoes not warm enough. Disappointed at no orange juice.

We had no hot water, took ice cold shower. When we called the front desk they were absolutely no help! They didn't offer any help or another room. Just simply said "no one else has said anything". No breakfast offered at this hotel and they charge $17 for the buffet. The lady working the buffet was very rude and acted as we bothered her when no one else was in the room. Not one person eating. Who would pay $17 for hotel food? I will be choosing anything but a Holiday Inn for my stays from now on.

Bathroom toilet was very low, very difficult to sit and stand before and after use. Leak from air conditioner in bathroom ceiling. Caused water to puddle on floor. Valet parking was a excessively expensive ($37 per 24 hours) separate and should be included in room charge. Would not recommend this hotel for visit to Memphis. Some staff members not courteous or respectful to guess.

The staff was wonderful, kind, and working their tails off to compensate for extremely poor maintenance. The entire building was dirty. Our first room had mildew in the shower and the drain didn't work. After our first night the air completely quit working so we were moved to another room. The floors in the whole building looked like they had never been cleaned. When we arrived they told us the hot water wasn't working but thankfully they had that fixed by the second day. Overall this was not at all worth our money and I'm so disappointed that IHG would allow one of their hotels to get this bad. Typically IHG is a safe bet but now I'll be more cautious when booking.

Location was great, walking distance to everything including Beale St. The actual hotel stay was very dissapointing. NO A/C in lobby during multiple 90 degree days. At check in our room was at 75 and it took over 6 hours for it to reach 70! When the a/c was on, it made a loud rattling noise the entire time it ran as well. The "fridge" cant even be called that as it shuts itself off for like 8 hours delay at a time for "energy conservation" so anything you put in there never gets cold. Hot water was hit an miss, room was clean but we had to ask for basic trash/towel service multiple times before it was done. Everything is outdated and worn and needs a major renovation. On our 3rd night the elevators didnt work for over 15 min and we were on the 10th floor. For a Holiday Inn branded hotel it was very dissapointing and we were surprised it was this bad for rhe many we paid it was not worth it. And many guests we talked with during our stay had the same or even worse issues as we did. Not up to a Holiday Inn standard at all. We will not be staying here again when we make a return trip to the Memphis area.

The good: The Staff was one of the most friendly and helpful of the dozens of hotels in which I've stayed. They were absolutely terrific. The Bad: Ice machine on our floor wasn't working (or maintained). Worse yet, there was a leak in the bathroom in the floor above us, leading to a flood in our room. The staff was terrific in dealing with it (e.g., comping us a breakfast). This may have been an isolated incident, but combined with the ice machine I'm not quite sure. Overall, I would stay there again.

I liked the location. Staff was great. My first issue when I went to take a shower and there was no hot water. The second issue was when I woke up at 1:30 am and the room was 76 degrees. I called the front desk and explained that the air conditioner wasn’t working in the room. She asked me if I wanted a fan. I were down to the front fest and request a different room for the rest of the night. She did give me a different room. By the time I got back to the room it was 82 degrees in there. We threw our possessions on the cart I got from the lobby and moved to the next room. The rest of the night went well. We got up and checked out at the front desk and left for the trip back home. About an hour later we stopped to get something to eat and she realized she didn’t have her lower denture. She said she probably left them in the first room 1263 when we were in a hurry to go to the next room. I called the front desk and and if they could have someone check the room. She said to call back in a half hour or so and she would have housekeeping check. I’m the meantime we got on the road again and call back later and she confirmed they had the denture and put it in the lost and found then gave me instructions on how to get it sent to my house. I went to the post office and sent a prepaid envelope to the hotel which will be delivered to the hotel on 6/11. I hope that works out. Please call me when it gets shipped. Thank you. For business

Smelled awful. Apparently an ice machine broke and flooded so the carpets were wet. Someone puked in the elevator and nobody cleaned it all night, was still there in the morning. Very expensive for a holiday inn. Would never stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bed was comfy. We were disappointed that we could not make use of the bar because they do not have a liquor license currently.
