I was given a room without light in bathroom. Then was given the 2nd room without shower ( box room with the head of shower just behind the tiny room where there were a sink & toilet). Then when I asked to change again they said sorry you change already twice...it was only when I really insisted & wasn't happy at all that I wad given the 3rd room a bit better than the first 2 rooms. I was feeling so depressed & nearly cried! After flushing the toilet, it made a very loud noise for a while, the small fridge kept also making loud noise ever now & then, no water given on arrival or in room. The water from shower faded away after a while. The pillow was too high. I asked for an invoice ( receipt) for the shuttle ($25) from airport to hotel but I wasn't given one ( while I was told via email that I could get one) when I booked the room. I could hardly sleep because of the noisy fridge even using my earplugs

Easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. To get to this hotel you have to go down a sketchy ally. I get in and someone I guess had used my room as a smoke break because there were ashes and tobacco all over my bed and night stand. There were stains on both beds and pubic hair on them. The “shower” is over the toilet. Do not be fooled by their pictures. The pressure is awful. I was using the sink and the drain on the ground started bubbling up and overflowing with black (I’m really hoping) dirt. One of the towels had blood on it. I left and came back for the day and someone had used my bathroom, even though I marked do not disturb. Glad I literally took all of my belongings because I doubt anything would have been left. Would not be surprised if I became sick or infected after this place. On my last night here I went out and came back late to my bathroom COVERED in what I can only, again, hope is just dirt, and everything soaking wet. Pretty sure the streets of Maadi would have been cleaner. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Great Everything was good. Had trouble finding the hotel... it’s at a dingy dead end... but when you open the hotel door it’s great. Modern and clean. The rooms are on the small side, but decent.

Great First, if you're looking for the hotel, it's a bit in the back and on the left side when looking for it on the street. This is a basic, no-frills hotel located in Downtown Cairo, right within walking distance of Tahrir Square. The staff was very nice, but spoke very limited English, so keep this in mind. My room was clean and comfortable. The wifi was not consistent on my phone and faded at some points.
The rules about guests are very ambiguous -- I invited someone to my room very briefly to retrieve something and we were followed by a staff person who knocked on our door. Otherwise, no complications.

Great location. Helpful staff but most of them do not speak good English. Very basic room.
We booked their airport shuttle but they did not turn up and we were forced to arrange a taxi to the hotel.
