Solo stay

For international flights, there is honestly no better location to stay. The convenience of already having gone through passport control and security the night before makes the whole experience so much more relaxing. Waking up, having a good breakfast, and simply walking straight to the boarding gate was incredible. Such a smooth and stress-free experience.

We had an almost 9 hour connection time and it was super nice to have this hotel and at a reasonable price. Being inside security is a huge benefit as you can relax until the last minute, accounting only for walking time to the gate. The room was nice and roomy but we did notice that the AC did not remove all of the humidity so it was a bit damp and thus also difficult to get a good temperature. The amenities are also a bit sparse e.g. no vanity kits but still decent.

Solo stay

Windowless room, unhelpful staff. daft hotel policies. Don't bother asking for any help, you won't get it. Be aware you will need a Brazilian plug to charge your computer, and nobody will help you. On the plus side, you are inside the transit lounge so lots of other places to visit and wile away your layover. Frankly they seem more interested in running a pay to play smoking area for people trapped in transit. That is and big success, and full of suffering souls 24/7.

Very bad experience. Hotel was behind the security in the airport (which we knew), but we could not get through security until twelve hours before our stay, making the stay a moot point. The hotel staff tried to help us but were unable to do anything.
