Great location but hotel 2-3 star. Parking is not free. If you need great location then you can stay there. But this is not Court yard Marriott or Hampton In

When we checked in our room was not ready, but the desk person asked if we would mind a free upgrade to a king size bed. That took quite a while, but finally we were issued our key card and instructions to go to C6 (or another number). It seemed a little odd for a room to have a "C" attached to the number, but oh well. Once we were in the elevator it became clear that C was for CELLAR! I seriously doubt if the room met fire code as there was no legal egress. The cellar window was about even with my face, and even if we could have reached it for escaping a fire, the window handle was broken off. This was not a "budget" room and came with a total price of $216 for one night. I requested an iron and ironing board, which were promptly delivered. But, the iron quit working after about 10 minutes, and it took almost an hour to get a replacement. The final straw occurred when we went to check out. The elevator would not come to our floor. We could hear it in the shaft and even suspected it did come to the cellar, but would not open! We tried for 16 minutes. There was no way we could haul our luggage upstairs so my husband went to find someone to help. A male employee came around the corner and I called out to him for assistance with the luggage. Instead he stood beside me pushing the button for another 5 minutes! I openly questioned his reasoning since I'd already informed him of the 16 minutes we'd spent pushing the button. Later found a rug in the lift blocking the sensor.

Breakfast was not continental but merely bagel, fruit & coffee. Staff were unhelpful - caused a check in mishap between 3 rooms and ended up being bothered early in the morning for a potential room switch.

Fantastic
Nice industrial oasis. No frills, but friendly staff and excellent value. Walked to / from ferry at night with no fears. Lots of public transportation options to Manhattan though. Free breakfast was minimal, continental as described.

There are self parking, costs you $25 per day. The nearest subway station is 15 minutes walking away, it is not terrible, the subway station is another side of the bridge/highway, not the best way to cross, but we managed to get there safely. Only on the last day during our staying, we discovered a safe way to cross ( there is some sort of passage route). So asking about the info on the first day!!! There is ferry get to NYC, I liked the ferry better than the subway. No laundry service nor machine is available, but there is laundry store in 7-minute away. The staff of the laundry store is friendly but not the people who uses the service. No ice machine in the hotel, we had some zip bag to make our own ice. There are some nice restaurants and businesses nearby. We had issue with washroom drainage, the drainage is very very slow, but we were only in the hotel for short period of time, we didn’t bother to raise the concrete, no impact for you to use the washroom, just super slow drainage.
