⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Unique and Memorable Stay Galaxy Hotel is a truly unique and charming boutique property. The hotel is petite, cozy, and beautifully designed, creating a very special atmosphere. What made the stay unforgettable was the incredible roof window above the room. Being able to lie in bed and look directly at the night sky was magical. Lake Tekapo is famous for its dark skies, and the rooftop window gave me a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the stars from the comfort of my room. The experience felt peaceful, intimate, and unlike any other hotel stay I’ve had. If you’re looking for something special and want to experience the beauty of the night sky, I highly recommend Galaxy Hotel. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The breakfast was delivered to our room while hot and had plenty of protein options including eggs, bacon, sausages and beans. It was more than plentiful and delicious. Would definitely come back again.

Solo stay

The room was really clean but I was disappointed that there was no restaurant. Felt more like a motel, which I hadn’t expected. Breakfast was served on a few tables that surrounded the reception desk - so I skipped that.

Great
An early morning lake view changes the entire feel of a stay. The scenery from our room was absolutely incredible. Plus, the staff here are young, energetic, and genuinely friendly. We didn't get a chance to eat the included breakfast, though. We had to rush straight out the door for our activity at Mt. Cook.
