Perfect location. Rooms are small, but a great deal of charm in this older hotel.

Check in was a little crazy. Room wasn’t ready after they texted me to find out my arrival time. The restaurant downstairs was amazing! Dorothy in there for breakfast was so kind.

Location was great. Rooms were dark, and beds very soft. No real amenities. With all Of the choices in Lexington, we will be picking something different next time.

Great
Great location right next to the College of Charleston! Parking was $40 per night, but the valet staff was very professional and always quick to retrieve our car. The room was on the small side, and the bathroom was even smaller. We were three people sharing two full-size beds, and having two adults in one full-size bed was a bit cramped. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with an excellent location, but we’ll probably try a different one the next time we visit Charleston.

This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in my entire life 💖. What made this hotel so amazing was the staff. EVERYONE was beyond helpful and we really felt appreciated and loved. When I say everyone, I mean the check-in staff, the valet attendants, and even our server at the restaurant. It’s gorgeous inside and the location is outstanding! I will be back!

We loved our stay from the time we entered the doors to the time we left. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner one night and had breakfast at the Swamp Fox restaurant on premise and the food was delicious. We had the breakfast buffet and the fruit was amazing. Each evening there was a piano player playing music in the lobby that enriched the ambiance. The lobby was gorgeous and makes you feel like you were living in the 1920s. The location is close to shopping, parks, coffee shops, museums, and a short walk to the French Quarters.

Fantastic

Stayed with partner

We stayed in a lovely suite that faced two directions, one right over the park and one up King St. Although it was 4th of July weekend the staff was never hurried or inattentive. The room was huge, gorgeous, and the turn down service was a nice touch. One caveat, not against the FMH, but the City. Go with the Valet parking as its cheaper. The misleading "$24.00 a day max charge" is totally a scam. Their clock runs from midnight to midnight so if you park at say 5 pm, and get your car at 8am the next morning its $48.00. Total scam.
